The ability to categorize, or group items together based on shared characteristics, is a very important cognitive and linguistic skill. It allows individuals to learn and access new vocabulary, increase expressive and receptive language, and assist with cognitive mapping. Bubble-Pop! is an app developed by an SLP and engineer, and it helps children learn the skill of categorization by searching for assigned categories of objects, and popping them to collect the objects.
